International remittances’ impact on Uzbekistan’s economic growth is examined using time-series analysis methods,
including ADF, Johansen cointegration, VAR, and VECM, based on data for 2000–2025. The empirical findings reveal a statistically
significant positive relationship, indicating that remittance inflows contribute to GDP growth through increased consumption,
investment, and household income. At the same time, risks associated with dependence on external labor markets are identified, and
policy recommendations are proposed to transform remittances into a source of sustainable development.
