SCIENTIFIC AND THEORETICAL INTERPRETATIONS OF DEVELOPING REFLECTIVE COMPETENCE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

Description

This article examines the scientific and theoretical foundations of developing reflective competence in the process of English language teaching. The pedagogical and psychological essence of the concepts of reflection and reflective competence is analyzed, and the role of reflective activity in the professional development of future English language teachers is highlighted. Furthermore, modern pedagogical approaches and methods that contribute to the development of reflective competence in English language education are discussed.
