This article explores the economic foundations for enhancing the efficiency of innovative
services in the higher education system. The study examines the economic essence of higher education
services, the contribution of innovation-oriented approaches to improving educational quality, and their
relationship with human capital development and labour market demands. Particular attention is given to
digital platforms, e-learning technologies, academic management systems, quality assurance mechanisms,
and university–industry cooperation as key drivers of innovative service efficiency. The findings demonstrate
that the development of innovative services in higher education serves as a strategic economic factor that
promotes the efficient use of resources, improves educational quality, and supports the preparation of highly
competitive specialists. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of financial sustainability, advanced
digital infrastructure, and the innovative competencies of academic staff in strengthening the effectiveness and
long-term development of innovative educational services
