DETERMINATION OF EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR FIRE SAFETY INDICATORS OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND THEIR ANALYSIS BASED ON CURRENT REGULATORY DOCUMENTS AND STANDARDS

Description

This article presents the evaluation criteria for the fire safety indicators of construction materials, their behavior under fire exposure, and an analysis based on current national and international regulatory documents and standards. During the study, the main fire-technical characteristics of construction materials, including combustibility, ignitability, smoke generation capacity, toxicity, and flame spread rate, were investigated. A comparative analysis was conducted using the construction regulations in force in the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as GOST, ISO, and EN standards. The results indicate the necessity of improving the criteria for selecting construction materials to ensure fire safety in buildings and structures.
