Designing Language Learning Materials for Preschool Children in Taiwan Through the Integration of Indigenous Nature Conservation Stories

Description

Abstract:

This paper aims to design language learning materials for preschool children in Taiwan through the integration of indigenous nature conservation stories. Specifically, it examines how Indigenous conservation narratives can be incorporated into language learning materials to support preschool children's language development, foster environmental awareness, and promote appreciation of Indigenous cultural knowledge. By connecting language learning with culturally meaningful and ecologically grounded stories, the study seeks to contribute to the development of culturally responsive and sustainability-oriented early childhood education in Taiwan.
