PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT FOR THE EDUCATION OF PATRIOTIC FEELINGS IN A PRESCHOOL CHILD

Description

Our research aims to uncover the psychological and pedagogical challenges facing the process of cultivating patriotic feelings in preschool-aged children. Patriotism in preschoolers develops from a fundamental sense of attachment to their family, home, the kindergarten they attend, and, most importantly, their native land. During preschool age, children begin to develop fundamental value-based attitudes toward the world around them, the culture and traditions of their people, which subsequently develop into a love for their homeland. Today, the education of every citizen and patriot of their country begins precisely at this age. This scientific aspect is a highly relevant and particularly challenging issue. This requires great tact and patience, as in young families, the development of patriotism and civic responsibility are not considered important and often only evoke confusion. Cultivating patriotic feelings in a child is based on the development of their moral and emotional feelings. Influencing a child's emotional and moral development leads to the development of a correct perception of all issues related to patriotic feelings. In psychological and pedagogical support of a child's upbringing, it is necessary to select methods that do not seem boring or overly didactic to the child, but rather naturally and harmoniously imbue their worldview with moral content and reveal new, previously unknown or incomprehensible aspects of the surrounding reality.
