This file has ~170 mi high-quality Illumina paired-ends 90 bases short reads aligned to a minimal pangenome graph for Salminus brasiliensis. This graph has four chromosome-level haplotypes (two individuals: ARG-BRA):
Reference and alternate haplotype genomes from the Vertebrate Genomes Project (specimen from Argentina) were used to retrieve the pseudohaplotypes (principal and alternate) from the Upper Paraná River Basin fish (specimen from Brazil), including unplaced scaffolds, were used to construct a minimal pangenome graph for this iconic characid fish, with is obscured by taxonomic uncertainty as the validity of the S. brasiliensis nomenclature across the vast La Plata River Basin (including, Uruguay, Paraguay, Paraná Rivers, etc). It captures genome-wide variation for variant calls and other downstream applications.
