The rapid integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) into modern media
landscapes presents complex challenges for reporting on armed conflicts, where accuracy and impartiality
are paramount. This study analyzes the methodological implications of using GenAI tools for content creation
and verification, drawing upon recent research regarding fake news detection and legal standards in cyber
conflict. The research identifies key ethical barriers—specifically algorithmic bias and the "attribution
problem"—and practical limitations regarding context-dependent content. Ultimately, it proposes a framework
for human-in-the-loop verification to ensure the integrity of war journalism in the digital age.
