This article investigates the role of Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) in enhancing the speaking fluency of English language learners at the university level. Based on four years of practical classroom experience, the study explores how CLT principles — including meaningful interaction, task-based activities, authentic communication, and learner-centered instruction — contribute to measurable gains in oral language production.
