THE USE OF INTERNATIONAL ASSESSMENT FORMATS IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS: TESTS, TASKS, AND PROJECT-BASED LEARNING

This article explores the use of international assessment formats in education and their role in improving learning quality. It discusses standardized tests, performance tasks, and project-based learning aligned with PISA, TIMSS, and PIRLS frameworks. The study highlights the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and functional literacy through competency-based education. It also considers theoretical foundations, classroom application, and key challenges such as curriculum alignment and teacher readiness.
