Einstein's general relativity states that all forms of energy-momentum source spacetime curvature through the field equations. This statement is treated as a universal principle. We demonstrate it is a category error. The Higgs field is spacetime itself. It fills all space. It cannot be turned off, shielded, or decoupled from any quantum wave. Every physical system that exists is therefore already a three-wave configuration: the Higgs field provides two waves through its vacuum structure and self-interaction, and any quantum wave provides the third. One-wave and two-wave systems are physically impossible. They do not exist to be tested. The speed of light is the terminal propagation speed through the Higgs field. For massless particles, it is the only speed they can travel. For massive particles, it is the unreachable limit because the Higgs field resists acceleration increasingly without bound as speed approaches $c$. This resistance is relativistic mass increase. It is the same mechanism that makes one or two waves impossible to isolate. The Higgs field is everywhere. Everything interacts with it. Nothing escapes it. Einstein's generalization from a sample that was always already at the three-wave threshold to a claim about all energy is logically invalid. The field equations are correct for all observable phenomena. The interpretation that any energy curves spacetime is false. Only three-wave energy does. The Higgs field guarantees that all physical energy is three-wave energy.
