This repository contains the data, model inputs, simulation outputs, and analysis scripts used to quantify the air quality and public health impacts attributable to U.S. data center electricity demand in 2023.
The analysis combines electricity system modeling using the U.S. Electricity Generation Optimization (US-EGO) model, atmospheric chemistry simulations using GEOS-Chem, and health impact assessment based on PM₂.₅ and ozone exposure-response functions. Repository contents include processed input datasets, power sector simulation outputs, emissions inventories, air quality fields, mortality estimates, and scripts used to generate all manuscript figures and tables.
