The Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM) is a chronic condition linked to hypoestrogenism that alters the structure and function of vulvovaginal tissue. The conceptual evolution previously limited to the term "vulvovaginal atrophy", has enabled a comprehensive clinical approach and driven interest in regenerative gynecology, particularly for women with contraindications to hormonal therapies. This systematic review, conducted following PRISMA guidelines, evaluated the effectiveness of injectable hyaluronic acid in postmenopausal women from a regenerative gynecology perspective. Articles published between 2021 and 2025 in high-impact biomedical databases were analyzed. The results indicate that injectable hyaluronic acid significantly improves vulvovaginal symptoms and sexual function, with sustained effects for up to 52 weeks after a single session. Furthermore, a favorable safety profile and a potentiating (o synergistic) effect when combined with other regenerative therapies were reported. In conclusion, injectable hyaluronic acid represents an effective, safe, and durable non-hormonal therapeutic option for the management of GSM, establishing itself as a key tool in current gynecological practice.
