The use of sensors has been increasing at an outstanding rate in the last few years and modern world depends highly on the use of sensors for a variety of purposes such as detection of smoke, radiation, gases etc. A sensor is a device that provides a usable electrical output in response to a specified measurand. In other words, it is the component that detects the value or the change of value of a physical quantity or parameter and converts the value into an electrical signal for an indicating or recording instrument.
