Remarks.
Mühlenhardt-Siegel (1996 a) designated one juvenile as paratype (same data as the holotype); however, the publication does not provide a collection number. This specimen was not found in the ZMH - K collections; thus, the paratype is considered lost.
Diagnosis.
Pseudorostrum short; dorsomedian line with double row of spines. Maxilliped 3, merus not expanded and base distal prolonged but not widened (after Mühlenhardt-Siegel 1996 a).
Distribution.
Red Sea 1654–1686 m depth.
