Eocuma gorgasiae Mühlenhardt-Siegel, 1996
Holotype.
Maldives • ♀; South of the Island Jetty, Embudu, South Male Atoll; 21 m depth; 02 March 1994; Ute Mühlenhardt-Siegel & Volker Siegel leg.; on sandy bottom within a sandeel colony of the sandeel Gorgasia sp.; ZMH - K- 038046.
Remarks.
Mühlenhardt-Siegel (1996 a) designated two paratypes (♀ + juv.), from the same station and data as the holotype, which are deposited at the ZMA (ZMA Cu. 202.080).
Diagnosis.
Carapace 1.5 times as long as high, without lateral carina, 1 horn at each side in the anterior third, and with an elevation on the middorsal surface at the posterior margin; pseudorostrum short and straight; dorsomedian line without carina; antennal notch narrow (after Mühlenhardt-Siegel 1996 a).
Distribution.
West Indian Ocean, Maldives, 21 m depth.
