Independent research project exploring the molecular and immunological basis of celiac disease, utilizing ChimeraX and BioRender to produce original visualizations of the HLA-DQ8–gliadin–TCR ternary complex and celiac immune cascade. This report explores celiac disease pathogenesis and T cell response pathways, which remain incompletely understood in global research. This project aims to identify potential immunological mechanisms and predisposing factors that degrade T cell oral tolerance in individuals with celiac disease, relative to asymptomatic HLA-DQ2/DQ8 carriers who do not develop the disease, comprising approximately 30-40% of the global population.
